In addition to this definition, SBClass has seven hosting categories in the system, rated with stars. They are:
- Bed & Breakfast: 1 to 4 stars;
- Flat/Apart-hotel: 3 to 5 stars;

- Hotel Fazenda: 1 to 5 stars;
- Historic hotel: 3 to 5 stars;
- Inn: 1 to 5 stars,
- Resort: 4 to 5 stars.
